Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed receives Yemen’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled Al Yamani.

​H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Khaled Al Yamani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Yemen, in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed their joint bilateral relations and the developments to the situation in Yemen, as well as their humanitarian and relief efforts to assist the Yemeni people and return stability to the country.

Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Al Yamani while wishing him luck in his duties.

Sheikh Abdullah renewed the UAE’s consistent stance towards Yemen and its people; its aid through the Arab Coalition, led by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by the side of legitimacy; its support of the UN’s efforts to return stability to Yemen, as well as the guarantee that the humanitarian assistance will reach the brotherly Yemeni people.

Khaled Al Yamani, Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs, praised the leading efforts made by the UAE for the restore stability and security to all parts of the Yemeni lands and its prominent role within the Arab Coalition led by the KSA.

He also commended the efforts of the UAE on the humanitarian and relief level to send assistance convoys to the Yemeni people.

The meeting was attended by Khalifa Al Ghafli, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, and Abdullah Matar Al Mazrouei, Director of the Arab Affairs Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

نظمت نقابة العمال بمؤسسة موانئ البحر العربي ميناء المكلا وقفة احتجاجية ضد القرارات التعسفية التي يصدرها وزير النقل بحق كوادر المؤسسة.

حيث دعت نقابة الميناء يوم أمس الأول كل العمال و الموظفين للوقوف في هذه الوقفة بسبب صدور قرار من قبل وزير النقل صالح الجبواني بتعين شخص من خارج مؤسسة مؤاني البحر العربي نائبا لرئيس المؤسسة بدون مؤهلات عملية سابق بإدارة الموانئ ما عدى علاقته الشخصية بالوزير بحسب البيان عن نقابة مؤاني البحر العربي.

وتطالب النقابة في بيانها بإلغاء قرار إقالة نائب رئيس المؤسسة الاخ فؤاد تيسير الرباكي و حذرت من تبعات القرار الجائر بحقهم و منتسبيها و الذي ترفضه رفضا قاطعا جملة و تفصيلا.

وطالبوا الجهات ذات العلاقة ممثلة برئاسة الجمهورية و السلطة  المحلية بمحافظة حضرموت بالتدخل الفوري لإيقاف هذا العبث و الذي يراد به تدمير المؤسسة من الداخل بافراغها من كوادرها الفاعلة و إحلال بدلا عنها من كوادر غير مؤهلة للعمل .

Gargash's remarks came after the Yemeni government on Sunday handed over its response to the UN envoy on his proposals regarding the Battle of Hodeidah, which entered its second month of freezing under international pressure.

"We hope that the effort of the UN political envoy to liberate the city will bear fruit, without which the liberation of Hodeidah is coming, and we await the efforts of the UN envoy towards the achievement of the Houthi withdrawal from Hodeidah to spare the city,

 

"The coalition’s progress towards Hodeidah deserves international acclaim for the humanitarian situation and the lives of civilians, and al-Houthi wanted to fight with its own qualities, and the coalition was more astute in its observance of the humanitarian and civilian aspects," he said.

 

"There is a marked escape of militia elements, desperate efforts to mobilize and compensate, and our progress (the Arab Alliance) over the past months on the West Coast will culminate in the liberation of Hodeidah," he said.

The people of the region were unable to identify the people after their bodies had been completely roasted.

 

At the moment, no statement or comment has been made by the Yemeni government or the US forces, which have been waging raids on al-Qaeda operatives in Yemen.

Emirates Red Crescent provides emergency relief assistance to displaced people in Shabwah in South Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Sunday distributed emergency relief aid to displaced people in Rudum District of the Shabwah Governorate in South Yemen.

These people fled the Yemeni provinces which were under the control of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias.

The latest assistance comes in line with the instructions of the UAE leadership to ease the suffering of Yemeni people who are facing dire conditions.

Sultan Al Nuaimi, the ERC representative in Shabwah, emphasised the importance of aid delivery to displaced people to meet their daily necessities. He pointed out the efforts of the authority to ease the suffering of the local population and provide basic food items for all those affected by the situation in Yemen. He added that the assistance is in addition to other humanitarian initiatives launched by the authority.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the UAE for its continuous support and praised the ERC's efforts for delivering humanitarian aid.

حكومة بن دغر تطلب 3 مليار ريال من البنك رواتب اعضاءها والرئاسة تطلب 2 مليار ريال

كشف مسؤول بالبنك المركزي اليمني ان ادارة البنك تلقت طلبا من حكومة  بن دغر بتسليمها مبلغ 3 مليار ريال كمرتبات لاعضاءها وموظفي مكاتبهم ووكلاء الوزراء .

وقال المصدر ان هذا المبلغ الكبير بامكانه ان يدفع مرتبات عشرات الالاف من موظفي الدولة ومكاتبها فيما الحكومة تستأثر بالمرتبات لاعضاءها وموظفيهم على حساب مرتبات موظفي اجهزة الدولة في المحافظات .

واضاف ان الحكومة تسلمت 10 مليار ريال من آخر دفعة من الاموال المطبوعة التي كانت محتجزة بميناء وتم ادخالها قبل حوالي شهرين ولم تبلغ الحكومة ادارة البنك بعملية الانفاق لذلك المبلغ ليتفاجئ البنك بطلب الحكومة تسليمها 3 مليار.

ومن جهة أخرى كانت سلمت ادارة البنك المركزي مكتب الرئاسة مبلغ 2 مليون دولار أي ما يعادل مليار ريال قبل اسبوع دون معرفة مصير تلك الاموال .

ويعيش الموظفين دون مرتبات في واقع اقتصادي مزري وغلاء اسعار مخيف ينبئ بان الناس سيشهدون مجاعة في الفترة القادمة ان لم ينتفضوا للوقوف بوجه تلك الحكومة والشرعية الداعمة لها.

الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي ينظم مارثون عدن للسباق بالدراجات الهوائية

نظم اتحاد الدراجات بعدن صباح يوم أمس “سباق الدراجات الهوائية” برعاية من الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي ضمن أنشطة عام زايد 2018.

وانطلق المتسابقون من أمام جمعية الحياة في خور مكسر إلى نقطة العلم شرق عدن ومن ثم العودة الى خور مكسر وصولاً إلى مديرية البريقة، وقطع المتسابقون مسافة 62 كم بزمن 1:55 ساعة و 55 ثانية.

وحاز بالمركز الأول المتسابق صالح نصر عبد القوي من نادي وحدة عدن وحصل على الكأس وجائزة نقدية قدرها 200000 مائتان ألف ريال يمني، كما حصل الأربعة المتسابقين على جوائز نقدية متفاوتة.

وعبر اللاعب صالح نصر عبد القوي – الفائز بالمركز الأول- عن شكره للهلال الأحمر الإماراتي راعي هذه البطولة “مارثون الدراجات” بمناسبة عام زايد 2018 وهذه المسابقة الثانية التي رعاها الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي بالتعاون مع اتحاد الدراجات بعدن.

وأكد رئيس اتحاد الدراجات بعدن المهندس نشأت نجيب أن هدف تنفيذ هذه البطولة هو إحياء النشاط الرياضي بعدن وتأكيد أن المدينة آمنة وجاب المتسابقون كافة الشوارع ذهابا وإيابا.

اقصاء اكثر من 50 مجند من ابناء عدن واستبدالهم بمقربين لقائد اللواء اول حماية رئاسية ووزير الداخلية

في استمرار لمسلسل التهميش والاقصاء لابناء مدينة عدن بعد تحريرها ، قام في صباح امس السبت  21 يوليو 2018 قائد اللواء اول حماية رئاسي سند الرهوه بعد وصولة مباشرة من الخارج ، بطرد أكثر من 50 مجند من ابناء عدن واستبدالهم بمقربين منه ومن وزير الداخلية .

 

وجاء الطرد دون سبب مقنع يدعو لذلك وفي تصرف غريب واقصائي ويدل على ممارسة الشرعية المناطقية والعنصرية ضد ابناء عدن   ..

 

يذكر ان المقاومه التي قامت بتحرير وتأمين مقر المعاشيق في كريتر جلهم تم اقصائهم مسبقاً ، غير إبقاء القليل منهم لإبعاد الشبهة عن ممارسة العنصرية .

الحكومة اليمنية تسارع في إطلاق سراح مشتبهين بقضايا إرهاب وتتخاذل عن أسرى المقاومة في سجون المليشيا الحوثية

في مفارقة غريبة تكشف مدى الخطورة التي تقوم بها الشرعية والاخوان المسلمين لدعم الارهاب والدفاع عن الارهابيين.

أقدمت الشرعية على الاهتمام البالغ لإطلاق المعتقلين الارهابيين في سجون عدن وتخاذلت عن المتابعة او الاهتمام بالأسرى المقاومين في سجون مليشيات الحوثيين.

وكشفت جهود الشرعية التي بذلتها للضغط من جهة والتوجيهات الصادرة للنيابة من اجل اطلاق سراح المعتقلين الارهابيين ان الشرعية داعمة بشكل رسمي ومباشر للإرهاب وفصائله المتعددة .

وبالمقابل لم تبذل الشرعية أي جهود لمتابعة أحوال الاسرى من المقاومين الذين خاضوا معارك التحرير في الجنوب والشمال ويقبعون في سجون الحوثيين ويتعرضون لأبشع الانتهاكات.

واطلقت الشرعية عقب ضغوطات مورست على سجون عدن 380 سجينا من المعتقلين المتهمين بالانتماء للجماعات الارهابية والتورط في اعمال اغتيالات وتفجيرات شهدتها عدن.

وعقب استكمال الافراج عن الدفعة الرابعة بأيام عادت الاغتيالات الى عدن بشكل كبير والتي نفذها عناصر من المفرج عنهم في وقت تواصل الشرعية عملها لاستكمال اطلاق بقية المعتقلين الارهابيين دون أي تقديم لهم للمحاكمة.

وياتي اطلاق الشرعية للمعتقلين بحجة عدم وجود ادلة عليهم رغم ان غالبيتهم متورطون باعمال ارهاب والعمل مع تنظيمي داعش والقاعدة خلال الفترة السابقة واعترف الكثير منهم بتلك الاعمال وهو الامر الذي تجاهلته النيابة العامة عقب تهديدات مورست عليها من قبل وزير الداخلية والنائب العام والمحكمة العليا التابعة للشرعية.

The Yemen Scholars Association on Saturday blamed the Iranian-backed Houthi militias for the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Yemen.

The associated accused the Houthis of looting humanitarian aid.
According to the Yemeni scholars, Houthi actions have resulted in the suspension of salaries of hundreds of thousands of employees for nearly two years.
The Association praised the efforts and humanitarian support of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), which provides, directly and indirectly, most of the humanitarian relief support for the Yemeni people.
The Yemen Scholars Association condemned the Houthi militia for looting relief aid in areas under its control.
According to a human rights report, At least 113 people have been tortured to death in detention centers in Yemen run by the Houthis since the coup began
Yemeni Human Rights Minister Mohammed Askar told Arab News that the figures in the report were only estimates and that the real figures were much higher.

Southern Al-Amaliqa forces cleanse farms in Zabid

The Southern Brigades of Al-Amaliqa, backed by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, with the active participation of the UAE, continued its efforts and military movements to liberate al-Hodeidah from the Iran-backed Houthi coupist militias.

The Southern Brigades launched on Sunday a wide-scale attack to cleanse the farms located west of the historic city of Zabid, killing at least 35 Houthi elements.

The operation focused on the farms located southwest of Zabid to seize control of the sites that the Houthi militias use them in bombing and targeting civilians.

The operation coincided with a series of air strikes by the Arab coalition on Houthi positions and reinforcements. The raids resulted in the death and wounding of dozens of rebels and the destruction of military vehicles.

Forieng Minister of the Legitimacy in Abu Dhabi for official visit Khaled Alyemany arrived Sunday in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official trip.

During his visit Alyemani is set to hold talks with his Emirati counterpart His Highness (HH) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan and several Emirati officials.

Aspects of Yemeni-Emirati joint cooperation and cooperation will be a central focus of Alyemany's talks with his Emirati counterpart and other officials.

Alyemany received by Assistant of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Development Affairs in the UAE Sultan Mohammed Ashamisi along with the Yemeni Ambassador to the UAE Fahd al-Minhali.

Top three drug dealers arrested in Aden

The security arrested three top drug traffickers in Aden, with hundreds of narcotic pills in their possession.

The Emergency and Security Support Forces in al-Tawahi said that the investigation with local distributors of hallucinogenic pills, who were arrested a few days ago, led to the capture of 3 major suppliers of these pills which are sold through distributors in all the districts of Aden Governorate.

It is worth mentioning that the security managed, in cooperation with the citizens, to arrest many of those involved in drug-related crimes.

Emirates Red Crescent sponsors cycling race in Aden

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, sponsored a cycling race in Aden on Sunday, organised by the Cycling Union of Aden.

The ERC’s sponsorship of the event is part of its activities for the Year of Zayed, as well as its efforts to support the liberated cities and regions, through supporting local sports.

The competitors began at the Al Hayat Association in Khormaksar and continued to Noqtat Al Alam in Eastern Aden, before returning through Khormaksar to Al Buraiqeh District, a distance of 62 kilometres in a time of 1 hour and 55 minutes.

The race was won by Saleh Nasr Abdul Qawi from the Wehdat Aden Club, who was awarded the tournament trophy and a cash prize of 200,000 Yemeni Riyals. The other winners received various financial awards.

The race’s competitors thanked the ERC for supporting sports sector, while noting that the ERC sponsored the race for the second time, in cooperation with the Cycling Union of Aden.

Nashaat Najeeb, President of the Cycling Union, said that the championship aims to revive sports in Aden and showcase its security, safety and stability, which could be seen as the cyclists toured around its streets. He also thanked the ERC for supporting the race for the second consecutive year. 

Yemeni government delivers memo in reply to UN Envoy to Yemen's proposals to end war

Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher, Prime Minister of Yemen, delivered a written memo to the UN Envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffith, in reply to proposals he had earlier presented to President Abdrabboh Mansour Hadi of Yemen during his 10th July visit to Aden.

Bin Dagher handed over the reply to Martin Griffith during a meeting in Riyadh on Sunday, reported the Yemen's news agency.

In his letter, Bin Dagher confirmed his government's commitment to a fair and comprehensive peace, according to the references parallel to the commitment of the Iran-backed Houthi militias withdrawal from the capital, Sanaa, and other cities, thus, abdicating power in the capital for the legitimate government and handing over weapons to the State.

He underscored the importance of the Iran-backed Houthi militia showing goodwill before the start of any future consultations by releasing all prisoners of war and those abducted, and assisting in providing access to humanitarian and relief assistance to the needy in all governorates.

He confirmed that the reasons behind the current crisis in Yemen is, clearly speaking, the usurping of the legitimate power and the State, drawing to attention that the legitimate government is an aggrieved party of this conflict by the Houthi militias.

He demanded that the UN to announce the rejection of the coup as null and void, adding that his government has a long practice of providing full assistance to the efforts of the UN to stop the war, while the Houthi militias, backed by Iran, managed to play fast and loose, and obstinate, leading to the failed endeavours of former UN envoy Ismail Ould Alchiekh.

Bin Dagher cited the Houthi militias’ latest rejection to withdraw from Al-Hodeida city, even though it would protect civilians from the repercussions of a street war, noting that the matter has now left in the hands of their supporters in Iran, who do not care to place the lives of Yemenis in danger and blackmail Yemen's neighbours, as well as the world community, as part of their expansionist project to control the Bab Al-Mandab Strait and threaten the safety and security of international navigation.

He reiterated, according to Yemen's news agency, his call to the UN to mount pressure on Iran to stop its interference in Yemeni affairs, providing the Houthis with weapons, including ballistic missiles, and coercing it to show commitment to international laws.

The UN envoy lauded the efforts of the Yemeni government in support of the peace process, and its sincere will to reach a peaceful solution, given its responsibilities towards Yemen and the Yemeni people.

Griffith expressed satisfaction over the ideas presented by the Yemeni government on ways to resume peace negotiations.

He said the UN will work over the coming days to consult with all parties to explore possible visions and ideas, in compliance with peace proposals, in addition to taking into account the humanitarian aspects for the affected Yemenis.

المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي يتهم قطر بدعم "الحوثيين" لخدمة إيران في اليمن

اتهم الناطق باسم المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي، قطر بدعم الحوثيين والجماعات الإرهابية في اليمن، بهدف زعزعة استقرار البلاد.

وقال الناطق باسم المجلس سالم ثابت العولقي، في تغريدة على "تويتر" إن " الدوحة لعبت دورا سلبيا في زعزعة الاستقرار في اليمن وأمدت الحوثيين، والجماعات الإرهابية بما تحتاج إليه من مقومات البقاء ميدانيا وإعلاميا خدمة للمشروع الإيراني في المنطقة العربية واستهداف استقرارها وشعوبها".

يشار الى أن التحالف العربي بقيادة السعودية في اليمن، أعلن في 5 يونيو/ حزيران 2017 إنهاء مشاركة قطر في التحالف "بسبب ممارساتها التي تعزز الإرهاب، ودعمها تنظيماته في اليمن، ومنها القاعدة وتنظيم داعش، وتعاملها مع الميليشيات الانقلابية في اليمن، مما يتناقض مع أهداف التحالف التي من أهمها محاربة الإرهاب".

وأعقب القرار إعلان السعودية والإمارات والبحرين ومصر، قطع علاقاتها الدبلوماسية مع قطر، متهمة الدوحة بزعزعة الاستقرار في المنطقة.

الولايات المتحدة تستضيف خبراء عسكريين يمنيين في واشنطن

دعى مكون القوات البرية التابع للقياده المركزية الأمريكية أربعةَ عسكريين يمنيين محترفيين للمشاركة في دورته الاستراتيجية الرفيعة التي انعقدت في العاصمة واشنطن من ٩ إلى ١٢ من شهر يوليو.

وقد ترأسَ الوفدُ اللواء محمد طماح ، رئيس هيئة الاستخبارات والاستطلاع ، فيما ضم الوفد كلاً من العميد حسين الهيال ، مدير مكتب وزير الدفاع ، واللواء الركن محمد إبراهيم ، الملحق العسكري في سفارة اليمن بواشنطن ، والنقيب هشام المقدشي ، مساعد الملحق العسكري في سفارة اليمن بواشنطن . وقد سـاعدَ المقدم سكوت ميرز، مدير مكتب التعاون العسكري في سفارة الولايات المتحدة لدى اليمن ، في تنظيم هذة الزيارة كما شاركَ في جميع اللقاءات التي عقدها الوفدُ اليمني في الولايات المتحدة.

وقد نظمت الدورة الاستراتيجية الرفيعة لمكون القوات البرية التابع للقياده المركزية الأمريكية ، نظمت نقاشاتٍ حول أهمية التحالفات والتهديدات الاقليمية الراهنة والاستراتيجيات التي من شأنها مواجهة هذة التهديدات حيث شاركَ في الدورة خبراء عسكريون من الولايات المتحدة واليمن ومصر والأردن والكويت ولبنان وقطر والإمارات العـــــربية المتحدة والمملكة العربية الســـــــــــــعودية كما شملت الدورة إحاطاتٍ عدة حول التنسيق الأمريكي في مجال الأمن الدفاعي . وفي ختام الدورة ، التقى الوفدُ اليمني بالفريق مايكل إكس . جاريت ، القائد العام لقيادة قوات تحالف مكون القوات البرية التابع للقياده المركزية الأمريكية .

كما عقدَ الوفدُ لقاءاتٍ منفصلة في العاصمة واشنطن مع مايكل بي . ملروي ، نائب مساعد وزير الدفاع الأمريكي لشؤون الشرق الأوسط ، وراي كولستون ، نائب رئيس المركز الإقليمي لشؤون الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا . ووصفت كل الوكالات الأمريكية التي التقت بأعضاء الوفد اليمني زيارة الوفد بالمفيدة للغاية ، معربةً عن رغبتها بعقدِ نقاشاتٍ أُخرى للبدء بتمهيد الطريق لتعاونٍ أمنيٍ عند التوصل لحلٍ سلمي للنزاع في اليمن .

U.S. hosts Yemeni Military Experts in Washington

The United States Army Central (USARCENT) invited four Yemeni military professionals to participate in its Senior Strategic Session held from July 9-12 in Washington, D.C.

The Yemen delegation was led by Major General Mohamed Tamah, Chief Intelligence and Reconnaissance Authority, and included Brigadier General Hussein Al-Hayal, Director, Office of the Minister of Defense, Staff Major General Mohammed Ibrahem, Defense Attaché and Captain Hisham AlMqdashi, Assistant Defense Attaché, Embassy of Yemen in the United States. Lt. Col. Scott Mears, Chief of U.S. Embassy Yemen’s Office of Military Cooperation (OMC), helped organize the U.S. trip and participated in all of the delegation’s U.S. meetings.

Featuring military experts from the U.S., Yemen, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, the USARCENT Senior Strategic Seminar facilitated timely discussions on current regional threats, strategies to counter those threats, and the importance of coalitions, and included several briefings on U.S. defense security cooperation. Concluding the Senior Session, the Yemen delegation met with Lieutenant General Michael X. Garrett, USARCENT Commanding General for the Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC).

The delegation also had separate meetings in the Washington D.C. area with Michael P. Mulroy, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East, and Ray Colston, Deputy Chief, Middle East/Africa Regional Center. All U.S. agencies that met with the Yemen delegation found the visit very useful, and expressed their desire for further discussions to begin paving the way for greater security cooperation once a peaceful solution to the Yemen conflict is reached.

أكدت مصادر عسكرية لـ موقع المكلا الآن الإخباري عن تعيين العميد مبارك العوبثاني مديراً لأمن وادي وصحراء خلفاً للعقيد عبدالعزيز الجابري الذي لم يُفذ قرار تعيينه مديراً لأمن الوادي،

وقالت المصادر العسكرية أن قرار تعيين العميد مبارك العوبثاني أصبح في مكتب محافظ حضرموت والعميد مبارك العوبثاني،

وقالت المصادر أن العميد مبارك العوبثاني سيتسلم قريباً مهامه لإدارة أمن الوادي الذي يشهد إنفلات أمني كبير،

هذا وكان العميد مبارك العوبثاني أول مدير أمن لساحل حضرموت بعد تحريره من تنظيم القاعدة الإرهابي في أبريل 2016م.
